Who we are
This website is run by Tim Cook Kitchens, Unit 3, Whitehouse Industrial Estate, Britwell Road, Watlington, Oxfordshire, OX49 5JY. If you have any questions about your information, email info@timcook.co.uk or call 07956 499972.
What we collect, and why
When you send an enquiry. If you fill in our contact form, we collect your name, phone number, email address and the message you send us. We use this only to respond to your enquiry and discuss your project. We never sell or share your details for marketing.
When you browse the site. With your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (such as which pages are popular) so we can improve it. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. If you decline cookies, analytics are not used.
Cookies
We don't use any cookies until you choose "Accept" on the banner shown on your first visit. The only cookies we use are Google Analytics cookies, to measure site usage as described above. You can decline them, and you can change your mind any time by clearing your browser's site data.
Who processes your information
We use a small number of trusted services to run the site:
- FormSubmit — delivers your enquiry from the contact form to our email.
- Google Analytics — anonymous site-usage measurement (only with your consent).
- Netlify — hosts the website.
Each only handles your data to provide its service to us, under its own data-protection terms.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as we're in contact about your project, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you get back in touch. Analytics data is retained for up to 14 months.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can object to how we use it. Just email info@timcook.co.uk and we'll sort it. You also have the right to complain to the UK's Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top of this page.
